How many revolutions a circular wheel of radius metres makes in covering a distance of s metres?

Solution

In one revolution, the wheel covers a distance of  \[2\pi r\] 

So, to cover a distance of s meters, the wheel has to make  \[\frac{s}{2\pi r}\] revolutions.
