The figure show a network of five capacitors connected to a 10V battery. Calculate the charge acquired by the 5μF capacitor.
Solution
C1 || C2 ∴ C1 + C2 = 15 + 5 = 20
C3 + C4 = 10 + 10 = 20
Because the capacitor are equal there fore equal voltage would be distributed
∴ `10/2 = 5V`
