`"AD"/"DB" = "AE"/"EC"`
⇒ `"AE"/"EC" = "AD"/"DB"`
⇒ `"AE"/"EC" =(5)/(7)`
∵ AC = AE + EC
⇒ AC
= 5 + 7
= 12
∴ `"AE"/"AC" = (5)/(12)` .
