Question
Find the degree measure corresponding to the following radian measure.
`pi/8`
Solution
We know that, one radian = `180^circ/pi`
`pi/8 = 180^circ/pi xx pi/8` degrees
`= 45/2`
= 22.5°
= 22°30′ .....[∵ 0.5° = (0.5 × 60)’ = 30′]
