Question
For a certain frequency distribution, the values of mean and median are 72 and 78 respectively. Find the value of mode.
Solution
Mean = 72
Median = 78
Mean – Mode = 3(Mean – Median)
72 – Mode = 3(72 – 78)
Mode = 72 + 18 = 90
