2Q - P = $| \begin{matrix} 14 & 6 \\ 8 & 2 \end{matrix} | - | \begin{matrix} 2 & 9 \\ 5 & 7 \end{matrix} |$

$= | \begin{matrix} 14 - 2 & 6 - 9 \\ 8 - 5 & 2 - 7 \end{matrix} | = {| \begin{matrix} 12 - 3 \\ 3 - 5 \end{matrix} |}_{2 \times 2}$
