Name the smallest angle in each of these triangles:
In ΔXYZ, XY = 6.2cm, XY = 6.8cm and YZ = 5cm
Solution
It is known that, in a triangle, the angle opposite to the smallest side is the smallest.
In ΔXYZ, YZ = 5cm is the smallest side.
∴ ∠X is the smallest angle.
