Question
The diameter of a circle is 5.6 cm. Find its circumference.
Solution
Diameter = 5.6 cm
Radius = `"diameter"/2 = 5.6/2 = 2.8` cm
Circumference = 2πr = `2 xx 22/7 xx 2.8 = 17.6` cm'
Thus, the circumference of the circle is 17.6 cm.
