Question
Write the following equation in ax + by + c = 0 form.
`x/2 + y/4` = 1
Solution
`x/2 + y/4` = 1
∴ `(2x + y)/4` = 1
∴ 2x + y = 4
∴ 2x + y – 4 = 0 is the equation in ax + by + c = 0 form.
