Types of Acceleration:

Positive Acceleration Negative Acceleration Zero Acceleration
Occurs when an object's velocity increases over time. Occurs when an object's velocity decreases over time. Occurs when an object's velocity remains constant (no change in speed or direction).
Acceleration is in the same direction as velocity. Acceleration is in the opposite direction to velocity. Acceleration is neither in the direction of nor opposite to velocity because there is no change in velocity.
For example, a car speeding up on a highway. Example: A bicycle slowing down before a stop. Example: A car moving at a steady speed on a straight road.
