A definite lifespan:

A lifespan is the amount of time a living thing lives, from birth to death. At a certain age, living things become capable of reproduction, meaning they can produce offspring.

  • As living things grow older, their organs begin to weaken. Eventually, all living things reach the end of their lives and die.
  • Different plants and animals have different lifespans. For example, a dog lives for about 12 to 18 years, while an ostrich can live for around 50 years.
