Question
Find the slope of the line passing through the points A(2, 3) and B(4, 7).
Solution
A(2, 3) = (x1, y1) and
B(4, 7) = (x2, y2)
Slope of line AB = `(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)`
= `(7 - 3)/(4 - 2)`
= `4/2`
= 2
Slope of line AB = 2.
