Question

 If `[[2     3],[5      7]] [[1      -3],[-2       4]]-[[-4      6],[-9        x]]` find x.

Sum

Solution

Given :`[[2,3],[5,7]] [[1,-3],[-2,4]]-[[-4,6],[-9,x]]`

`⇒[[2-6,-6+12],[5-14,-15+28]]=[[-4,6],[-9,x]]`

`⇒[[-4,6],[-9,13]]=[[-4,6],[-9,x]]`

⇒x=13

∴x=13
