Introduction:
Fleming’s Right-Hand Rule states that if the thumb, index finger, and middle finger of the right hand are stretched perpendicular to each other:
- Thumb → Direction of the motion of the conductor
- Index Finger → Direction of the magnetic field (N to S)
- Middle Finger → Direction of the induced current
Fleming’s right-hand rule
Application:
- It is used in electric generators to determine the direction of induced current.
- Helps in power generation in hydroelectric, thermal, and wind power plants.
