The equation x + 2y = 0 is of the form
ax + by + c = 0, where a = 1, b = 2, c = 0
∴ slope of the line = `-"a"/"b" = -1/2`
x-intercept = `-"c"/"a" = -0/1` = 0
y-intercept = `-"c"/"b" = -0/2` = 0
