Experiment
1. Aim: To study the behaviour of coal powder in different liquids: water, kerosene, and cooking oil.
2. Requirements
- Apparatus: 3 conical flasks, stirrer.
- Chemicals: water, kerosene, cooking oil, coal powder.
3. Procedure
- Pour cooking oil, water, and kerosene into three separate conical flasks.
- Add half a spoonful of coal powder to each flask.
- Stir the mixtures thoroughly using a stirrer.
- Observe the behaviour of the coal powder in each liquid.

4. Conclusion: The behaviour of coal powder in the mixtures shows its insolubility in water, kerosene, and cooking oil, demonstrating that coal powder does not dissolve in these common solvents.
