Question

The area of a rectangular plot is ` 462m^2` and is length is 28 m. Find its perimeter.

Solution

Area of the rectangular plot=` 462m^2`

`"Length" (l) =28m`

`"Area of a rectangle"="Length"(l)xx"Breath"(b)`

=`462=28xxb`

⇒`b=16.5 m`

Perimeter of the plot = `2(l+b)`

=`2(28+16.5)`

=`2xx44.5`

=`89m`
