Question
Find the area of a circular field that has a circumference of 396 m.
Solution
Circumference = 396 m
2 π r = 396
`2 xx 22/7 xx "r" = 396 "m"`
r = 396 m `xx 7/22 xx 1/2`
r = 63 m
Area = π r2
`= 22/7 xx 63 xx 63`
= 12474 m2
Area of the circular field = 12474 m2
