⇒ ${\displaystyle \frac{\text{5x}-20=5x+15+7x+28}{35}}$

⇒ 5x - 5x - 7x = 15 + 28 + 20

⇒ - 7x = 63 

⇒ x = ${\displaystyle \frac{63}{-7}=-9}$

∴ x = - 9
