Natural Substances:

Natural substances are materials that come directly from nature. These can be anything you find around you, like air, water, and soil. We can group these natural substances into two main categories based on where they come from: biotic and abiotic.

1. Biotic substances: "Biotic" means that the substance comes from living things. For example, anything we get from animals or plants is a biotic substance. Some common examples include:

  • Leather and Wool
  • Jute and Cotton

2. Abiotic substances: "Abiotic" refers to things that are not obtained from living organisms. These substances come from the non-living parts of our environment. Some examples include:

  • Air
  • Soil
  • Water
