Organic Farming
Organic farming is a traditional type of farming that uses only natural materials, not chemicals. It has been practiced for a long time.
- In organic farming, the nutrients in the soil are kept intact, making the soil healthy and fertile for a longer time.
- The organic pesticides (natural ways to keep pests away) used in this method do not harm people who eat the food grown this way.
- The grains and crops grown using organic farming are more nutritious and taste better.
- Farmers are choosing organic farming because it is safer for the environment and produces better crops.
Natural Manure Used in Organic Farming:
Organic farming uses natural fertilisers called manure, made from plants and animals. This manure can include things like fish and bone meal (leftover parts of fish and animals), animal excreta (waste), and the decomposed remains of dead plants and animals.
