Introduction of Public Facilities and My School:
Public services are those provided to everyone in the community, such as water supply, electricity, health care, schools, and transportation.
- Some examples include buses and trains (for transport), hospitals (for health), and schools (for education).
- Everyone can use these services—they are meant for all of us. Because everyone uses these services, we must treat them with respect.
- A system is a group of things that work together. For example, our school is part of a big system that includes many other schools, public services, and facilities.
- In school, we have many facilities, such as classrooms, playgrounds, libraries, and more.
- Outside school, we can find similar places, like public libraries, parks, and playgrounds.
- Public transport includes buses and trains that everyone can use to get around.
- We use other services besides transport, such as the post office for sending letters, the fire brigade for emergencies, the police for safety, and banks for money matters.
- We also use public places like theatres to watch movies, parks and gardens to play, and swimming pools to swim.
Responsibility in Using Public Services:
Since these services are for everyone, we should use them properly. For example, we should not waste water or litter in parks. By being responsible, we help keep these services available and in good condition for everyone.
School as Our Second Home:
Our school is like a second home where we learn and grow. Just as we love our home, we should love and take care of our school. Every school has something special about it that makes it different from others.
Right to Education:
- Every child has the right to go to school and learn. This is called the right to education.
- According to the law, every child between the ages of 6 and 14 must go to school and finish primary education.
- For children who need special help (children with special needs), they can stay in school until they are 18 years old.
