Question
Choose the correct alternative answer for the following question.
Find the perimeter of a sector of a circle if its measure is 90° and radius is 7 cm.
Options
44 cm
25 cm
36 cm
56 cm
Solution
Here, r = 7 cm and θ = 90º.
∴ Perimeter of the sector = \[\frac{\theta}{360° } \times 2\pi r + 2r = \frac{90° }{360° } \times 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 + 2 \times 7\] = 11 + 14 = 25 cm
