Question
Find the area of a sector of a circle having radius 6 cm and length of the arc 15 cm.
Solution
Radius (r) =6 cm
lenght of arc (l) = 15 cm
Area of sector = `"radius" /2 xx `length of arc
`= 6/2 xx 15 = 45 `
∴ Area of the sector is 45 cm2.
