If  y=tanx+tanx+tanx+..to , prove that dydx=sec2x2y1 ?

 

Solution

 We have, y =tanx+tanx+tanx+...to
y=tanx+y
 Squaring both sides, we get,
y2=tanx+y
2ydydx=sec2x+dydx
dydx(2y1)=sec2x
dydx=sec2x2y1
