Adaptation for blending with the surroundings:

Some animals, like butterflies, lizards, and grasshoppers, have special adaptations that allow them to blend in with their surroundings. This is called camouflage. Their body colours match the grasses, leaves, flowers, or stems where they live, making it hard for predators to spot them. This adaptation helps them hide from enemies, find food, and survive in their environment.

These changes happen over time and help animals live, reproduce, and protect themselves based on the habitat and conditions they live in. Camouflage is a key adaptation that ensures their safety and success in the wild.
