Introduction to Networking
Networking involves connecting a group of computers to share resources and services, such as data, printers, or email systems. These systems are linked through a transmission medium, which allows the exchange of resources. To ensure smooth communication, all connected systems follow a common set of rules known as protocols.
Why Network?
The main goals of networking are
- Network provides resource sharing.
- It provides high reliability by using other machine if one machine fails in the network like military, banking, air, and traffic control.
- Access to any file and data.
- Finally the system is saving money by network only
