A Good Diet:

Food is essential for the body to grow and stay healthy. It provides energy and helps build strong muscles and bones. If a child does not get enough important nutrients like proteins, vitamins, and minerals, it can lead to malnutrition. This affects proper growth and development—for example, the child may not grow as tall as expected. Even if better food is given later, it may improve health but cannot increase height. This is because most growth happens during childhood and usually stops around age 18.

  • A good diet with the right nutrients helps children grow strong and healthy. Eating a mix of fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and dairy gives the body the vitamins and minerals it needs.
  • Food is especially important during childhood. Without proper nutrition, growth can be affected, and a child may not reach their full height or strength.
  • Later improvements in diet can help with health but cannot reverse early growth problems. So, eating a balanced diet from a young age is important.
