Devrais - A Boon for All Living Creatures!
In Indian culture, taking care of forests is very important, and the Devrai is a great example of this. A Devrai is believed to be a special forest dedicated to God. Because people consider it sacred, no one is allowed to cut down the trees or plants in a Devrai. This is why the trees in Devrais are still safe today.
There are many Devrais in Maharashtra, and in Madhya Pradesh, they are called Sharanvan. These forests are home to many plants and provide shelter to many animals. Because of this, devrais can be thought of as sanctuaries from ancient times, where both plants and animals are protected and allowed to grow freely.
In simple words, Devrais are a wonderful way to protect nature, as they help preserve forests and protect wildlife in a very special way!
