Plane Curve:
- Any drawing (straight or non-straight) done without lifting the pencil may be called a curve.
- When you join a number of points without lifting a pencil from the paper and without retracing any portion of the drawing other than single points, you get a plane curve.
- In this sense, a line is also a curve but ‘Curve’ in everyday usage means “not straight”.
