Definition

Intersecting lines: When two or more lines meet at a common point, they are known as intersecting lines.

Properties of a Intersecting Lines

  • Intersecting lines meet at a single point; they cannot meet at more than one point.
  • Intersecting lines meet each other at any angle that is greater than 0° and less than 180°.
  • When two lines intersect each other, they form a pair of vertical angles that share a common vertex or the point of intersection and are faced opposite to each other. The vertical angles are always equal to each other.
