Like Fractions and Unlike Fraction:

Like Fractions:
A like fraction is a collection of two or more fractions with the same denominator. Fractions having the exact integers in the denominators are called like fractions.
for example,`"1"/"8"`, `"3"/"8"`, `"5"/"8"`, and`"7"/"8"`, are all fractions with denominator 8. Hence, they are termed "like fractions.

The fraction represented by (i) is `"2"/"6"`. The fraction represented by (ii) is `"3"/"6"` The fraction represented by (iii) is `"4"/"6"`.
In `"2"/"6"`, `"3"/"6"` and "4"/"6"` the denominators are the same. Such fractions are called like fractions.

Unlike Fractions:
Unlike fractions are fractions with different denominators. The denominators of fractions have different values in this case. For example, `"2"/"3"`, `"9"/"13"`,`"6"/"7"`, and `"8"/"9"`, are unlike fractions.
We cannot perform the addition and subtraction of unlike fractions easily. As the denominators are different, we need to find the LCM.
