Notes
Perimeter of a Triangle:
Perimeter of the Triangle = Sum of the lengths of its three sides.
= AB + BC + AC
= AB + AB + AB.....(All sides of the equilateral triangle are equal.)
= 3 × AB
= 3 × side.
= 4 + 4 + 4 cm = 3 × 4 cm
= 12 cm
If the given triangle is equilateral that is if all the sides are equal (AB = BC = AC), then its perimeter is equal.
Perimeter of the Triangle = Side + Side + Side
i.e., Perimeter of a Triangle = 3 × length of a side.
