Complex Machines:
Complex machines are devices that have many parts working together to complete a task. These parts are connected to each other and perform different functions.
- Some of the parts in complex machines are actually simple machines, like levers, pulleys, or wheels. These simple machines work together to make the complex machine function. For example, in a bicycle, wheels (a simple machine) and a chain (connected to gears) work together to make it move.
- The structure of complex machines is more complicated than simple machines because they have many parts that must be connected properly. For example, a car is a complex machine with an engine, wheels, gears, and other parts. All these parts work together to make the car move.
- Complex machines are used when tasks require more time and effort than a simple machine can handle. They help us perform difficult jobs that require multiple processes. For example, a washing machine is a complex machine that washes and spins clothes. It uses different parts to complete the task of cleaning.
