Parasitic nutrition:

Parasitic nutrition is a type of feeding where some animals rely entirely on other animals for their food. These animals cannot make or find their own food, so they live on or inside other animals to get nutrients. The animal that provides the food is called the host, and the one that feeds is called the parasite. There are two types of parasitic nutrition:

  1. Ectoparasitic Nutrition: In this type, the parasites live on the surface of the host's body and feed by sucking blood or body fluids. Examples of ectoparasites include lice, bedbugs, and ticks. They attach to the skin of animals and feed on their blood.
  2. Endoparasitic Nutrition: In this type, the parasites live inside the host’s body, usually in the intestines, and get their food from the host. Examples of endoparasites are tapeworms and roundworms, which live inside the bodies of animals and absorb nutrients from the host's digestive system.
