Law of conservation of mass:
This law was stated by Lavoisier in 1744. It states that “In all physical and chemical changes, the total mass of reactants is equal to total mass of the products.”

Notes

Law of Conservation of Mass:

Law of conservation of mass states that "mass can neither be created nor destroyed in a chemical reaction".

For example - H2 + O → H2O

There is some amount of hydrogen and oxygen on the reactant and product side.
